DO YOU HAVE ALLERGIES?
Hudson Rug can help clear allergens trapped in the carpet in your home. Studies show that carpet is better at trapping allergens than hard flooring such as wood or tile. The allergens fall into the carpet an the carpet fibers trap the allergens, reducing their circulation in the air. Most carpet is made from plastic fibers and many people are not allergic to it. But if you have a wool carpet you may have a problem if you are allergic to these particular fibers.

PROPER VACUUMING TECHNIQUES
For optimal results with minimal effort, Hudson Rug suggests using a vacuum that has a high airflow, high-efficiency filtration system.
Your vacuum will operate most efficiently when the bag is less than half full. Remove and replace your bag when necessary. Also, ensure your vacuum is at the proper height setting for your pile type. Refer to your manufacturer’s manual for guidance on height settings.
For best results when vacuuming your carpet, use a slow, front-to-backward motion in an overlapping sequence, moving slightly left or right every four strokes. This method is more effective than a quick “once over”. Be sure not to overlook the carpet corners and areas along the walls.
Keep in mind that high-traffic areas of carpet (such as walkways, entryways, etc.) require the most attention. Daily vacuuming of your high-traffic areas, twice a week vacuuming in medium-traffic areas and once a week in areas of light traffic, may be a helpful schedule to follow in order to maintain the life of your carpet.
